All people are born unique with different abilities but with the same right to their own life and the same opportunity for development as everyone else. Our society must be characterized by the fact that all children and young people are given a childhood, built on perspectives with rights as tools. Growth should strengthen one’s self-esteem and ability to live in our society. Emmaboda municipality is developing positively, through dialogue aiming towards creating solutions and opportunities and based on a culture of trust in order to strengthen children’s and young people’s self-esteem and belief in themselves.” The focus areas with a major impact on each individual’s possibilities and the conditions for building a positive society for all are as follows: SAFETY – Goal: to create a safe and trustworthy community for everyone.
